The Weider Weight Training Log : The Ifbb Worldwide Official Training Log by Daniel Levesque List Price: $18.95 'We can not say more than what Ben Weider and Joe Weider say about the book in the foreword. Let them tell you more about it:

"This training log gives you everything you need to track and evaluate your training progress, while managing your daily activities for the next 52 weeks.

The Weider Weight Training Log reflects the lifestyle principles and sporting values that govern the International Federation of bodybuilders (IFBB), one of the latest federations to be recognized by the International Olympic Committee (IOC). Because the log's unique concept is based on recognized training principles, the Federation was quick to endorse it as the official international training log for its 170 member countries.

This training log is highly recommended because it surpasses the needs and expectations of fitness, bodybuilding and weight training enthusiasts. More than 40 million people are involved in these types of activities in the United States alone, and these activities are considered just as popular on the international scene. The Weider Weight Training Log carries on the Weider tradition of quality and trust. It contains all the training data fitness enthusiasts need, plus a number of very useful tips.

Good health should not be taken for granted. This has always been our belief. Everyone should have equal access to the tools they need to live a healthy life. All Weider Nutrition and IFBB products and literature have been explicitly designed to help you maintain or improve your health and fitness on an ongoing basis. We are very confident that your log will exceed your every expectation because it has been designed not only according to the highest quality standard, but specifically with you in mind."' -- From the Publisher

No Pain No Gain: Training Journal

List Price: $10.95 ($19.71 with Lift Log : Diary and Guide for Strength Training) "Great Journal for Serious Fitness, May 21, 2001 Reviewer: A reader from Raleigh NC United States If you are looking for a no-frills, straight-forward training journal, look no further. Perhaps best suited for more experienced exercisers because of lack of descriptions of exercises or anatomy. GREAT for simply recording the exercises, weights used and reps. Has an area for recording your cardio workouts or making other notes. There is enough room on the pages to to record dietary intake for the day as well. The back pages have spaces to record measurments and other notes. I bought one at the beginning of the year, and am buying my second one now."

Lift Log : Diary and Guide for Strength Training (Sportslog Series) by Nate Foster, Tim Houts List Price: $10.95
"Lift Log:Diary and Guide for Strength Training, May 24, 2000 Reviewer: donettad from Lone Oak, Texas
I think this is an excellent book to carry around the gym as you work out. It has a bit of warm-up and stretching exercises, nutrition, anatomy, and basic suggestions for organizing workouts, and how to use the book. There are also worksheets for body measurements and progressions. The diary itself is set up very simply to allow you to keep track in your own way. The only negative thing that I can see is the pictures of the women -- they are more like "cheesecake" than actual bodybuilders. I can't believe that anyone could lift weights in a thong!"

The Motivator: Your Personal Workout Log
by Josh McKenna List Price: $9.99 "The Motivator is designed to help you track your progress on your own personal workout program. You select which body parts to focus on, which exercises to use and which days to do them. After you've developed your program, use The Motivator to record all of your actual workouts.
The Motivator works as your competitor! How? It will contain records of your prior workouts--the exercises, the sets, the repetitions and the weights you used--so you can easily see your prior achievements in a visual format. Knowing what you accomplished in your previous workouts will force you to set tougher goals for future workouts.

Not only does The Motivator make your overall accomplishments real and exciting, it helps you identify the particular exercises and programs which have brought you the greatest success. It lets you know when you're right on track, when your progress is slowing or if you need to change your program. It also helps you notice if certain muscles or body parts aren't developing the way you'd like. And as such, you can adjust your workout by changing the sets, reps, weights, or by adding new exercises altogether." -- Amazon.com Editorial Review
